Coach Anwar Gladden

Anwar has been a New York City Department of Education teacher and  leader in New York City basketball for over twenty years.  For the past twenty seasons, Coach Gladden has been the Varsity Head Coach for the South Shore High School Girls’ Basketball team, winning the 2017 NYS Federation Championship, and five NYC PSAL Championships.  Contemporaneously, Coach Gladden has coached and been associated with  premier level girls’ travel programs.  During such tenure, he has developed seventeen D1 student athletes.  More importantly, he has helped countless players achieve their goal of attending college.
