Coach Bill Coston

Allen “Coach Bill” Coston has been coaching basketball for over 35 years, but his greatest impact extends far beyond the court. For him, basketball is a vehicle for mentorship, using the game to teach discipline, accountability, confidence, and life skills that help young people succeed both in sports and in life. A member of the Castle Athletics organization since its inception, Coach Bill has witnessed its growth from a single team into a thriving program with over 15 teams.  Throughout that journey, his focus has remained the same: developing young athletes into strong leaders and positive contributors to their communities. After revitalizing the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ’s basketball team, Coach Bill guided his players to multiple championships, emphasizing teamwork, character, and perseverance along the way.  With Castle Athletics, he has continued to achieve championship success while maintaining his commitment to mentorship.  His influence and dedication have been recognized through multiple Coach of the Year Awards, reflecting not only wins, but lives positively shaped through his guidance.

Coach Darryl Tyson
Coach Darryl has been with Castle Athletics for eight years and has coached multiple elementary and middle school-aged student athletes.  Darryl played scholastically for Spring Valley High School, winning the City Championship during that period.  Besides leading Castle teams, Coach Darryl has also coached teams in CYO programs.  Importantly, Darryl leads his charges to become better student athletes and dedicate themselves to social improvement.
