Coaches

Pop Simmons

Coach Pop Simmons, a New Yorker through and through, played scholastically for, among others, All Hallows and St. Nicholas Tollentine.  Upon graduation, Pop played collegiately for Trinity Valley Junior College before finishing with SUNY Old Westbury.  Thereafter, Coach Pop played internationally for several teams in Europe.

Coach Pop has done and continues to dedicate his time to the develop of New York’s youth athletically, academically and socially.  He has coached student athletes for Boys Prep, the NY Rens, NY Lightning and Team Pop.  He continues to serve New Yorkers with his Summer events at Highbridge.  When not coaching, Coach Pop guides children as an educator in the New York City school system.
