Castle 16U Boys Grab the Summer Tipoff

announced June 13, 2014

Castle’s 16U boys continued their winning ways by taking the championship at the House of Sports Summer Tipoff. In doing so, Castle outscored its opponents by a combined 214-146. But, it was not all easy. The boys needed to outlast a game Mid-Jersey Mavericks squad in the final to best them 48-47. Coach Ghandhi noted that the “team is playing well together and peaking at the right time, as we head into the Rumble and then the always tough trip to Las Vegas.”

The 17U and 15U teams were also in action at the Tipoff and just missed out on the medal round.

The 14U boys played at the Rumble in the Bronx and lost to a buzzer-beater in their first game. The following day, an undermanned squad lost one and won one.

This week, the 14U team plays in a Father’s Day tournament while the older squads play around NYC in the Rumble in the Bronx.
