This is what Elite Sports wrote about the game:
“In the championship game, Castle Athletics out of New York pulled away from a battle tough Stamford Peace team from Connecticut, pulling out a 67-41 victory. Castle played an aggressive attack oriented game that the Peace team just could not figure out. The Castle team played a great full court trap but really pulled away with their half court zone defense that trapped at every opportunity. Their half-court defense proved to be the difference in the end as that pressure turned into easy uncontested layups at the other end. The Castle team had a very balanced attack with 9 players scoring at least 4 points! John Jimenez led all scorers with a game high 14 points and Kalvin Page added 12 in the victory.”
